Donation Policy

Thank you for supporting BizSherpa. Your generosity ensures that our educational materials remain free and accessible.

1. How Funds Are Used

All donations are restricted to advancing our mission. Our current allocation target is:

• 60%: Content creation and professional translation.
• 15%: Workshops and educational events.
• 15%: Platform and technical infrastructure.
• 10%: Administrative (audit, legal, compliance).

We publish an annual financial report detailing our income and expenditure for complete transparency.

2. Refund Policy

Because donations are immediately allocated to our charitable programs, they are generally non-refundable. However, if a donation was made in error (e.g., a technical glitch processing a payment twice) or unauthorized use of a payment method, please contact us within 14 days at finance@bizsherpa.org to request a refund.

3. Prohibited Sources

We do not accept donations that:

• Require us to alter, endorse, or promote an external commercial product or political agenda within our educational materials.
• Compromise our independence or conflict with our core mission.
• Originate from illegal activities.

4. Anonymous Donations

We respect the privacy of our donors. You may choose to remain anonymous in any public acknowledgments. However, for internal compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations in Hong Kong, we still require your verified identity during the transaction process.

5. Maximum Limit

To preserve our independence and ensure no single donor exerts undue influence over the organization, we cap individual donations at $100,000 HKD per fiscal year. For larger philanthropic grants, please contact our Board directly through the Partnerships page.
